QIC Health and Community Services Standards 7th Edition support a wide range of organisations to improve consumer and community engagement, diversity and cultural appropriateness, management systems, governance and service delivery, while committing to a cycle of continuous quality improvement.
This session will provide attendees with an overview of the QIC Standards 7th Edition while placing focus on two of the new Standards - diversity and cultural appropriateness, and consumer and community engagement.
Gain practical advice from QIP Staff and a QIP Assessor around relevant evidence requirements and strategies to support organisations with preparing for their assessment.
Rachael Pallenberg has been a QIP Assessment Team Leader since 2006, having undertaken hundreds of on-site assessments across a diverse range of organisations and multiple frameworks.
She has a background in nursing and social work, with speciality experience working with sexual assault and family violence support services and prevention programs.
Rachael holds tertiary qualifications in social sciences, human service practice, counselling, business and training. By implementing these learnings, Rachael has identified her passion for fostering cultures of continuous quality improvement (CQI) and assists organisations to enhance system and processes efficiencies, implement initiatives and risk management strategies. Rachael is dedicated to guiding organisations on a journey of CQI to create benefits for the organisation, their service users and staff.
